Nasty Trichostrongylus vitrinus (scour worm) larvae tunnel extensively in the gut wall of your sheep to build their 'retreats' which they inhabit for 10 days or so. This tunnelling causes extensive tissue damage, haemorrhage, oedema and leakage of valuable protein. A real pain in the gut!
