WormBoss Workshop

Tuesday 15 November

Europambela, Walcha

RSVP essential - 11 Nov.

This WormBoss New England Producer Demonstration Site Workshop is brought to you by Meat and Livestock Australia's Producer Demonstration Site Project.

WormBoss helps you to
  • reduce your number of drenches
  • reduce losses from worms
  • reduce your cost of worms

  • The WormBoss worm control program
  • Weaner worm control
  • Preparing next year’s low worm-risk lambing paddocks—start thinking about it now
  • All about drenches
  • Breeding for worm resistance
  • Drench resistance management
  • Review of project participants’ progress

An extra BARBERVAX session (with question and discussion time) will be held after the workshop from 1–2 pm. Please indicate if you wish to attend this session.

New project participants are also wanted, who will

  • Apply WormBoss on one mob of ewes and weaners for a year
  • Conduct a Drench Resistance Test
  • Conduct WormTests
  • Receive guidance and advice on test results
MLA pays for part of these test costs so it’s a great way to get started with WormBoss.

Our workshop host, Tony Overton, has been using WormBoss principles for a number of years and he says it has made huge savings from less drenching.
Tony has applied this with over 10,000 sheep.
